The essential items for Umrah include white Ihram garments, comfortable footwear, travel documents, and self-care essentials.

One of the most uncomfortable aspects of Umrah is dealing with the large crowds, especially during the peak season of Ramadan.

The pilgrims believe it was made a ritual as a tribute to Hagar’s (AS) search for water for her child, who was very thirsty until she found a water source known as the Zamzam Well.

Black and white abayas are suitable clothing for Umrah, as they represent modesty and are comfortable to wear.

The interior contains three pillars supporting the roof and several suspended silver and gold lamps. Most of the year it is covered with a huge black cloth named Kiswah.
